World Class Model Display

The world famous Euro Militaire Competitions are a major feature of the show and are held in the Channel Suite – a well lit and air conditioned glass fronted extension with view of the English Channel – and most likely 'Dave' the bottlenose Dolphin who has made this stretch of the south coast his home. Have-a-go R/C Tanks

Have a go at driving your own R/C tank in a battle against your friends and fellow modellers - your chance to conquer the world!
These fantastic RC tanks have are fitted with an eyesafe laser tag system allowing realistic tank battles, the infra-red beam fires upto 35 metres allowing for long range sniping or close quarter shoot-outs. Each time your tank is hit, lights on the turret mounted battle systems flash to let you know, the first hit will slow your tank to half speed, the second will slow you down to 1/4 speed, and the third hit will knock your tank out of action for 10 - 15 seconds, after which, you tank will restart with full power and the battle resumes! |

1st Footguards

The living history and reenactment unit portrays the Grenadier Company of the Guards as it appeared at Waterloo, and features a fully developed standing military encampment as a back drop to the activities and displays of both soldiers and camp followers alike. Care is taken to ensure all aspects of the units representation are as historically accurate as practicable. |
